I like it :D It does a good job of being something that was interesting to listen to but not distracting. The far off, distant drums were something that I think stood out by how far out of the way they were. It was a calming experience; I could see it being used in a movie/game where someone is sneaking around/into an high security office building. I didn't give you a 5 because there was a part around 3 minutes in where I feel like you could have changed things up just a little bit for just a little variation, even though it's a "mood setting" piece. Very nicely done either way though

alexwin responds:

yea i know... that part was experiment... i didnt know what could i use so, i did this... it was the best idea, really :D

Really well done!

Reminds me also of some music from Afro Samurai. The piano that plays on 1, the and of 1 and the and of 2.

hmm not too many ska fans on here

most of them seem to not know ska-punk when they hear it but... oh well... stupid post is stupid.

Keep up the stuff though I enjoyed this a good amount

giftedbuttwisted responds:

Hahaha yeah that's why I didn't label it "ska remix" lol I'm glad ya like it!

hate to spoil the party

but (to the guy below) you might wanna check up on your stuff because this IS a final fantasy song, it was thrown in by square to show their twist on the game. The music durring conversation is the opening melody, this song is the boss music from ff vi and the victory music is not the mario rpg music its instead the ff victory music

anyway very fun to listen to

Amazing

I've been a huge starfox fan since i was little and this is a very good cover. I usually enjoy when an arranger adds something new but still keeps the main piece as the core.

Well done and please keep up the good work

MashedByMachines responds:

Thank you very much!
I am also a huge fan to starfox, both the games and the music :)

Very Good

I love the sounds, and it is a very good cover. My only suggestion and the only reason this isn't a 10 is that I would like to have heard a little of something new instead of the same arrangement with different instruments.

Keep things going though! This is one of the best covers I've heard
5/5 9/10

Very Good

I like that you were able to maintain a very strong sense of originality while still making the theme noticeable. Have you thought of uploading any of your stuff to ocremix?

TenchuX responds:

This song is just for Newgrounds and VGmix.

I'm planning to turning in my Donkey Kong Country WIP song to the ocremix judges though.

great just great!!!

I mean it man you really did a nice job!!

Gavin responds:

thanks

Wonderful Mix

I don't think i've ever heard a mix of this before, good job ^^ anyway if people start busting your a** about it being an arrangement instead of an original composition tell them to f*** off and look for how many vg mixes are in other genres

I give a 5/10 and i can't wait to hear your next submission

DjKavi responds:

awww youi stand up for me -^.^- thankyou for the review your kind words will not go unturned
